Bayern close in on Mane: meeting with his agent revealed

Bayern Munich are already planning for the 2022-23 season. The Bavarian club want to fight for as many titles as possible, and that is why they are looking to strengthen their squad this summer with top players.
One of those on his agenda is Mane, who has not yet completed his renewal with Liverpool (he has a contract until 2023). In fact, 'Sky Sports' reports that his agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, held a meeting on Sunday with Salihamidzic, the Bavarian club's sporting director.
Salihamidzic tried to convince the agent and told him that the player is "the desired signing", according to the aforementioned source. However, hypothetical negotiations would not begin until after the Champions League final on 28th May.
This meeting with Mane's agent comes in the wake of Bayern's doubts about the continuity of Gnabry, whose renewal remains stalled. The Liverpool striker has made 47 appearances so far this season, scoring 21 goals and providing three assists.
