Should the clause be real, it will no doubt help calm fears that the likes of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino could be lured away from Merseyside in the near future, though there remain plenty of European heavyweights aside from Barcelona that are understood be huge admirers of the trio.
