Barcelona have already approved how their away kit will look for next season. Once again it is nothing too expansive, giving continuity to what we have already seen. The main difference comes in the form of tone.
The club appears to be sticking to yellow - this season's kit is almost entirely yellow. It appears to have been inspired by the 70s and 80s, when a blue stripe complemented it. This time, it is a diagonal cross.
It will be a less flourescent yellow than this season's, which is practically luminous, more reflecting colours we have seen in previous seasons.
The yellow kit was seen in some of Barcelona's most important seasons, including in 2005/6 when the club won the league and Champions League double.
However, it is better remembered for the events of three years later, when Andres Iniesta shocked Chelsea at Stamford Bridge to take Barcelona to a Champions League final against Manchester United.
