This does not mean, as Cordoner wanted to clarify, that Barca is going to part with countless football players. "It's not that we force ourselves to sell players. It's something derived from what we do," said the vice president.
At Barcelona, they understand that the Catalan club's talent is greater than ever. And it is best to give way to that large number of players who, in passing, leave the squad very full. "Tombas, the treasurer of the club already explained it. We want new talent because the demand is very high, and at the same time the players here are revalued," he continued.
"Playing at Barcelona adds value to footballers. We have stopped being a finalist club, in which the players finish their careers at, there has to be rotation," he stressed.
Cardoner believes that Barcelona have been misled in some past sales and they don't want to make the same mistake again. "Before, we gave players away, not now" he said.
So, that will be the new sales line of Barcelona. They think they have plenty of talent to give out to players ... and they don't plan to open the doors at any old price.
