Barca to go for Tielemans despite competition

Barcelona want to strengthen several positions the next January and summer transfer windows. Most notably they need a right back and a defensive midfielder, as they will have a big gap to fill at the end of this season.

It is because it is more than likely than Sergio Busquets will leave the club in June. The club have Ruben Neves, Martin Zubimendi or Youri Tielemans on their watch-list, whose contract with Leicester runs out at the end of the season.

Those at the Camp Nou like the Belgian midfielder a lot, and the board have good reviews of him thanks to Jordi Cruyff, one of his main fans. However, the situation with his contract, as well as his age (25) mean lots of clubs are following him.

Arsenal seem to be winning the race for him and seem to be about to close the deal. Barcelona could therefore enter the fight as well and even hasten up his arrival to this winter.
