"Barca? They need more things to be a big team"

'El Clasico' will be the most remarkable match on Sunday and many of the ex-players from both teams have spoken before this game. This time, the Real Madrid ex-player Rafael Martin Vazquez analised the match that will take place at the Santiago Bernabeu.
"Apart from teams' form, especially after the results of the last Champions League clash, it should be made clear that these matches are different and unpredictable. At the same time there is a lot of equality and the teams know each other very well, so it is difficult to surprise the opponent tactically," he said on 'AS'.
However, he said his favourite for this matchday: "Real Madrid undoubtedly. Last year there was a similar situation and Barcelona won 0-4 at the Bernabeu. For me it is not a benchmark and I do not think it will happen on Sunday. Despite Barca's current poor form, this season their squad is better."
"Busquets' words attract my attention because he told that Barca fall apart when the opponent score a goal. That is the key. More than the physical aspect, the mental aspect is fundamental, if they are right mentally, they will win. That's why we will have to see how Barca react if Madrid take the lead," he analised.
He also spoke about Barca's signings: "Signing a lot of good players does not mean that you have a better squad. Barca have a very good players because they have made big signings but they need more things in order to have a great squad: togetherness, a good atmosphere and confidence. In that point Madrid are still ahead".
"When you put a lot of pressure on them, they can lose patience and it is necessary to know it. Otherwise, I am not justifying the way they do it. Vinicius has a cheerful way of playing and that should not upset the opponent, because he does not do it to make fun of them, he does it because it's his style," he concluded.
Finally, Rafael Martinez Vazquez made a prediction and he put faith in his former team: 2-0 for Real Madrid.
