Barcelona, together with Cagliari of Italy, are the teams with the least number of 0-0 games in the last five years out of the top five European leagues.
Although the Catalans have played 192 league matches in the last five years and the Italians 195 (the 2015-16 season was in Serie B), both have a 0-0 percentage of just 3.1%.
In the period analysed (from January 2015 to December 2019), Barca drew 0-0 just three times at the Camp Nou (19th November 2016 v Malaga, 11th February 2018 v Getafe and 18th December 2019 v Real Madrid). They were involved in three goalless games away from home (2nd January 2016 at Espanyol, 10th February 2019 at Athletic Bilbao and 12th April 2019 at Huesca).
Barca had the most amount of 0-0s in 2019 (3) while they had no goalless league games between 2015 and 2017.
After Barca and Cagliari, next come Bayern Munich (3.5% of games end 0-0) followed by Tottenham and Juventus (both 3.7%).
A comparison between the top five European leagues was also done. The least number of 0-0s come in the Bundesliga (6.5%). The Premier League has 7.1%, Serie A and La Liga are not far behind (both 7.2%) while 8% of Ligue 1 contests saw no goals.
