"Barca's interest is a great joy for me"

Loren Moron is one of Rubi's most important players in the squad and he has his best goalscoring stats in the Real Betis first team. 

Barcelona are following him closely because they are in another difficult situation. This is after being unable to sign Rodrigo and seeing Dembele pick up another long injury. The Frenchman will have an operation on 11th February. 

'Deportes Cuatro' have revealed words from the Betis attacker on Barca's interest which have left a possible departure up in the air. 

"Interest has come. It's a very great joy and I know that they can sign players because of Dembele's injury, but that is my agent's department. They are the best team in the world," Loren Moron said. 

The striker called Leo Messi the striker in the world and did not rule anything out: "Time will tell what happens."

In any case, Barcelona can sign a player even if the market is closed providing the injured player is going to be out for at least five months. That is what article 124.3 of the rules says. 

Barca are continuing to scour the market for a striker for the rest of the season after getting over the Abidal and Messi crisis. There are several other names which appear on Barca's agenda apart from Loren Moron. Angel, Borja Iglesias and Lucas Perez are other options.
