Barca pull out of race to sign Sterling

Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona...Sterling has several clubs after him and they are all as good as each other. His name has been especially linked with La Liga clubs in the last few hours. 

The English press says that they a move to Real Madrid is becoming more likely. 'Sport' now adds that Barcelona are in the equation although it does not look like they will fight with Madrid if they finally go for the City man. 

The Catalan paper says that Sterling had been offered to Barcelona via his agent. It is worth highlighting that not only Barca have received this ofter but also his agent had offered him to other clubs such as Real Madrid, Chelsea and Arsenal. 

Barca have reportedly declined the offer and not because they are not interested in him. Their priority as a winger is Leeds United's Raphinha. That is why Sterling does not fit the type of player the club want. 

Man City are thinking of letting Sterling leave. He is one of the three players Guardiola will sacrifice together with Gabriel Jesus and Zinchenko in order to complete the signings of Cucurella and Phillips.
