Barca keep the spotlight on Rafael Leao

Several clubs are targeting Rafael Leao because he could leave Milan in 2023. Nevertheless, the Italian side want his renewal but the player will not make it easy.

Barcelona are one of the clubs that are targeting him. According to 'AS', the Spanish club are very interested in Rafael Leao with regard to the next transfer window.

Leao's contract expires in 2024 and if he does not renew, Milan will be forced to transfer him. The 23-year-old striker asked a few weeks ago for a salary of between ten and 12 million euros. The Italian club are evaluating the proposal.

"We hope to reach an agreement and extend his contract. We will try to find a solution to continue with Leao for a long time," said the director of football Frederic Massara on 17th October at the Gran Gala del Calcio, an event organised by the Italian Footballers' Association (AIC).
