The Uruguayan central defender retired at half-time with some discomfort in his right leg that this Thursday 29 October has been confirmed by Barca.
The team said that Ronald Araujo has a right hamstring injury that forced him to be taken off in the match against Juventus.
However, Barca has not dared to give a specific time off and indicated in an official statement that the player will be back when he his recovered.
It seems unlikely that the Uruguayan will be in the league duel this weekend, although Barcelona recovers a Gerard Piqué who was missing due to a red card in the Champions League.
