The 21-year-old LB went on loan to Getafe after a spell at Eibar and has managed his best numbers in La Liga this season, finding a spot in the Getafe XI.
Getafe exercised the 6 million euro option to buy for the defender and also agreed a 40% sell-on fee of Cucurella's future sale to another team.
According to 'Mundo Deportivo', Barcelona reportedly intend to ask Getafe to advance the money from this percentage. This would be a fixed amount as Cucurella would leave for 18 million euros, i.e. his release clause,
So this would correspond to just over 7 million euros for the Catalan side, therefore what Barcelona would earn from Cucurella would be around 13.2 million in total.
So far this season, Cucurella has played 37 matches, starting 33 of them, scoring one and getting 5 assists. This is his best data with regards to setting up goals.
