Barca are not alone: Chelsea, PSG and Arsenal also want Lewandowski

Striker Robert Lewandowski has a Bayern contract until 2023. However, he has now said publicly that he wants to leave Munich, but the club will have the last word. 

Barca have been following Lewandowski for some time. The Pole would be happy to move to the Camp Nou. The problem is that the club are going through a difficult financial situation and, if there are more clubs interested, they will not be able to compete with others, at least in terms of finances.

And Barca's worst nightmare has come true. According to 'Sport', there are three more clubs interested in Lewandowski and the three are powerful: Chelsea, PSG and Arsenal. 

Chelsea are looking for reinforcements in attack. The previously cited source says that Lewandowski's agent, Pini Zahavi, will have contact with the Blues, something which could be key. 

The Pole's agent also has a good relationship with PSG. In this case, according to 'TVP Sport', the French club would only go after him if Mbappe left and, because of recent events, everything seems to indicate that he will not leave the Parc des Princes in the end. However, everything could change.

On Arsenal, 'Sport' says that they have enough money to be able to make the signing. However, the Catalan newspaper says that this option might be the one which interests Lewandowski the least.

Barca, Chelsea, PSG and Arsenal, in any case, first have to wait. Bayern are calling the shots and they will be the ones who decide whether to let Lewandowski go or not and under which circumstances. The Germans seem to have several replacements in mind, but the club's position, at least front of the media has been very clear. "He's got a contract until 2023 and he will play for us until then," Bayern president Herbert Hainer said not long ago.
