Barca and Dembele's agent still to reach agreement

Ousmane Dembele wants to stay at Barcelona. That is what he has told the dressing room and Xavi Hernandez, who has a place for him in the XI ahead of the 2022-23 season. 

But there is still time for Dembele to renew. However, it is taking longer than expected. 

According to the latest information, Dembele's agent, Moussa Sissoko, he has now agreed to meet with Barca for a definitive meeting. It will be the last one: in it, he will decide whether Dembele stays or packs his bags. 

'Marca' says that despite the fact both parties have come closer to an agreement, there is still work to do. Barca and Dembele's agent seem not to have reached an agreement still. 

Barcelona have left it in the hands of Moussa Sissoko. The club says that the agent now has an offer on the table and the club are waiting for an answer. But the agent gives a different version. Moussa Sissoko says that, in that meeting, what he is expecting is a firm offer, with the conditions, as he has yet to receive one. 

Two very different versions and one reality: Dembele will be a free agent in just over a month's time. The Frenchman wants to stay, but the uncertainty, at least up to now, looks like it will continue for at least another few weeks.
