With the 2026 tournament to be hosted in North America between the USA, Canada and Mexico, another joint bid to host the world's biggest football tournament is about to be prepared it seems.
The four nations have decided to team up after a meeting held in Bulgaria on Friday, but will face stiff competition to have the World Cup on their soil.
A South American bid is also to go aheadb after Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay launched a bid to host the competition in what would be the 100 year anniversary of the first competition, which was held in Uruguay.
England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland are wanting to host the tournament in 12 years' time, as well as Morocco considering a north African bid with Algeria and Tunisia.
