Atletico squad list for Cadiz clash: Depay out of action

Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone will be without Memphis Depay, who was injured in the team's last training session, for the upcoming La Liga match against Cadiz.

The Argentinian coach announced the squad list for the clash against Cadiz on Wednesday and ruled out the former Barcelona striker. Furthermore, the Spanish side wrote on Twitter that the 29-year-old is suffering from a "right soleus injury".

"Memphis Depay was unable to complete training on Tuesday before the match against Cadiz and had to leave it feeling some discomfort in a rondo at the start of the session," Atletico wrote on their website.

As a result, Depay will miss his team's next game against Cadiz at the Metropolitano stadium. Moreover, Oblak, Llorente, Savic and Reinildo Mandava will also be unavailable for this match as they are still injured.
