Atletico's last hope is that Luis Suarez had a false positive result

What happens if Luis Suarez's positive coronavirus test were false? That is what Atletico Madrid are hoping for ahead of the match with Barcelona. 'AS' says the club are waiting for the Uruguayan to have a second PCR test. 

The chances are small, but he could test negative and then the club could prove his first result was anomalous. If that were the case, he could maybe take part in Simeone's training sessions and prepare for the match against his former side. 

A similar thing happened to Achraf of Inter. The defender went from testing positive to negative in a matter of days and he was available for selection by Antonio Conte very quickly. 

In any case, it is worth remembering that this is a final bit of hope Atletico Madrid have, but it seems unlikely to be successful. Diego Costa (if he recovers), Angel Correa and Marcos Llorente are looking to replace the Uruguayan versus Barcelona.
