Atletico put up 8 million for Joao Gomes

Atletico Madrid is already preparing the planning for next season. One of the names that are being talked about in the offices of the Wanda Metropolitano is Joao Gomes, a young Brazilian player who is very much liked in the Spanish team.

According to the newspaper 'AS', the Flamengo player is on the shortlist of the Spaniards after his good season. This year he has played 21 games in Flamengo and has proved to be one of their greatest talents.

The aforementioned media outlet reported that Atleti are preparing eight million euros for the midfielder. In fact, according to the Brazilian press, that figure would not exceed the expectations of his club, who would not let him leave for less than 20 million euros. 

Joao Gomes is a defensive miedfielder, although he also has a great ability to organise play. Meanwhile, in Brazil he stands out for his good tactical positioning and last year he was a key player in his team. He played a total of 44 games in which he scored two goals and provided one assist.
