Atletico Madrid have opened talks with AC Milan with the aim of signing striker Carlos Bacca this summer, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The La Liga side have sent sporting director Andrea Berta to Milan to initiate negotiations for the Colombian, who arrived in Italy last summer for €30 million, with a salary of €3.8m per year.
Diego Simeone has also been linked with a move for Chelsea's Diego Costa and Borussia Dortmund's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, however Costa looks set to stay at Stamford Bridge, and Aubameyang's price tag may be too high.
Therefore, Bacca is looking like the most likely signing for the Rojiblancos, and could be swooped up for just €25m.
The 29-year-old scored 20 goals in all competitions for the Rossoneri last season.
