Atletico agree deal with Valencia for Guerra

The uncertainty surrounding the signing of Javi Guerra is over. At first, it was suggested that he would be the 'plan B' if Conor Gallagher said no to Atletico's offer, but the Englishman accepted, so it was questionable whether he would finally join the Metropolitano. 

'Deportes COPE Valencia' claims that the agreement is complete between the parties and that it is a matter of hours before his arrival at Atletico Madrid is announced. The 'Colchoneros' will pay 25 million euros plus a bonus for the player. 

The 'Che' have also managed to keep a percentage of a future sale, which means that, if at some point, the ''Rojiblancos'' transfer the midfielder, Valencia will automatically get a piece of the cake.

Javi Guerra, who trained separately from the team on Tuesday, will not even be at Paterna on Wednesday. The player will travel to Madrid in the next few hours to finalise his move to his new club.
