It is not easy to come in to such a big club so young. Real Madrid has a lot of fans, something which directly affects its footballers. They become stars as soon as they arrive. The fans expect a lot from them, in some case, from youngsters who should not have to accept this responsability. Something that can be heard from Vinicius himself, who spoke for 'Placar' with Luiz Felipe Castro at 'AS'.
"I always seem calm, but inside I am very nervous. On my debut for Flamengo, for example, I was totally scared. I didn't even want to touch the ball," admitted the Brazilian striker.
Maturity or not, Vinicius is known, among other things, for his good attitude. He never forgets his smile: "This is how I am and I will never lose my joy".
Something which is difficult to carry in the Real Madrid team, where everything is examined in detail. At 18-years-old, he arrived at the capital ready to show himself to the world. But he has found a somewhat different scenario.
"Marcelo had already warned me. Here, one day you are Pele and the next you are nothing," the former Flamengo player stated, analysing his current situation in the team.
Vinicius is part of Real Madrid, but that doesn't mean he's not a young man. A fan of video games, as he has already stated on other occasions.
"I always have an eye on social networks, I control my account myself. Video games? It's nice to play them just with myself; I think I'm better at games than I am in real life," laughed 'Vini'.
With the team's considerable losses in attack, the striker has a golden opportunity to prove to Zinedine Zidane that he is the perfect man to take the place alongside Karim Benzema
