It seems like the Real Madrid coach have found the best fortmula in midfield and one of their men is Fede Valverde. The Uruguayan is getting closer and closer to the amount of minutes he played last term.
He is giving Zidane reason to play him in the first team three years after joining Real Madrid from Penarol at the age of 17. At Castilla, he played 30 games and scored three goals.
According to 'AS', Fede Valverde could have been elsewhere. In summer 2014, Arsenal's Wenger made an offer for him and he asked him to come to Arsenal for a week.
Everything was more or less sealed until Rodolfo Catino came along from Penarol. They asked more money for him than Arsenal and so Fede Valverde's move was halted.
Just six months later, the midfielder signed for Real Madrid and he has not looked back.
