Arsenal receive defensive boost as Ben White returns for Leicester clash

Arsenal's defensive ranks have been strengthened with the news that Ben White is set to return to action against Leicester City this Saturday.

The versatile defender, who has been sidelined since November following a minor knee operation, has successfully completed his rehabilitation and rejoined full training with the squad. 

White's availability for Arsenal comes at a critical moment as they face a packed schedule in the upcoming weeks and are currently six points behind league leaders Liverpool. 

His return will offer Mikel Arteta increased tactical flexibility, with White capable of playing both at right-back and in central defence. 

The 26-year-old's presence might be especially helpful as Arsenal moves into a difficult stretch that includes games against Nottingham Forest, West Ham, and the first leg of their Champions League last-16 matchup. 

White's comeback also provides welcome relief for Jurrien Timber, who has started 18 of Arsenal's 21 matches since White's last appearance against Chelsea on November 10.
