Antony, angry at Ajax: "I want to leave and I have expressed my desire to move"

It is well known that Antony, the speedy and skilful Brazilian winger, is a priority target for Manchester United to reinforce their forward line. Moreover, Red Devils coach Erik ten Hag already had him with him during his time at Ajax.
Such is his interest that the Old Trafford outfit have even offered up to 90 million euros for the Brazilian, but have been turned down by the Amsterdam outfit, who want at least 100 million euros for their player.
The striker has made it clear that he wants to leave the Dutch club: "I received an offer from Ajax to renew my contract, but I made it clear once again: I want to leave.
"In a meeting with the club, I expressed my long-standing interest in leaving, only this time with a huge offer on the table. Ajax refused. During the months of the transfer window, meetings with the board continued," he said in an interview with Fabrizio Romano.
"I am not asking Ajax to release me, I am asking Ajax to sell me with the highest offer ever for an Eredivisie player. I have been insisting on this issue since February so that the club can rebuild the team calmly, but they refused with the argument that they only have five days to replace me," he said.
