Andraz Sporar had to leave the national team because of muscle problems. The Slovenia and Sporting Lisbon player returned with his side after this setback was confirmed, 'O Jogo' said.
The Slovenian striker will have to return to his club before time and he will begin his recovery in the Portuguese capital so that he can return to action as soon as possible.
The player also missed his country's last friendly which was against San Marino on 7th October. Slovenia won that game 4-0. The next game will be on 11th October versus Kosovo on matchday three of the UEFA Nations League.
Slovenia are tight now in second place in group 3 of League C of the UEFA Nations League. They have four points from two games. Greece, Kosovo and Moldova are the other sides looking to get promoted to League B.
