Ander Herrera puts out the fire: "Neymar and Mbappe have a special relationship"

One of the most outstanding images of last weekend was Mbappe complaining on the bench about Neymar not passing to him against Montpellier. This video set alarm bells ringing in France and there was talk of a possible bad relationship between the two Paris Saint-Germain stars.
Ander Herrera, Paris midfielder, was in charge of putting out the fire and dispelling the doubts towards his two teammates. The Spaniard spoke at a press conference ahead of Tuesday's important Champions League game against Manchester City and took the opportunity to explain the situation.
"Since I arrived at the club, if you can see a special relationship it's the one Mbappe has with Neymar, and that hasn't changed," the 32-year-old said. He stressed that, on the pitch, it is normal for these tensions to arise because "everyone wants to give their best and score a goal or provide the assist".
Afterwards, he assured that they get on well and the laughter between the Frenchman and the Brazilian never stops: "They joked with each other, they laughed and nothing happened. Things are overdimensioned at this club. Everyone likes to talk about PSG and the negative sells more than the positive. We have to accept that.
Finally, their coach, Mauricio Pochettino, backed Herrera's words and emphasised the good form of his stars. "They are both very good boys, these things happen between great footballers. I spoke to them and everything is fine. No matter how much friction there is and how much noise is made, in the end nothing happens," he added.
