Straight after Thibaut Courtois and Carlo Ancelotti finished things up in the press room, Real Madrid got to work on Al Nassr's training pitches, and Ferland Mendy did not show up. The Frenchman is in serious doubt for the semi-final against Valencia.

Frenchman Ferland Mendy is in doubt for this Tuesday's Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Valencia (20:00) because of a calf strain, 'EFE' found out from a source inside the club.

The French full back did not train at Al Nassr, where Cristiano Ronaldo recently signed.

He is another doubt for the manager after neither David Alaba nor Tchouameni travelled to the Saudi Arabia capital to play in the Spanish Super Cup.

What is more, Spanish right back Alvaro Odriozola trained alone after not fully recovering from his muscle injury.
