Eder, Portugal's 2016 European Championship hero, is trying to rebuild his career at Lokomotiv Moscow and scored his first goal for the club on Sunday.

The 29-year-old took to the field in the 77th minute of his side's clash against FK Rostov and scored the winner in the closing stages of the match on 93 minutes.

Eder's goal helped Lokomotiv reclaim second position in the Russian Premier League and took them within four points of leaders Zenit St Petersburg.

Since the incredible night in France last summer, Eder has not had much luck with his career. He struggled to find his feet at Swansea and Lille and eventually decided to accept the offer from Russia.

With the World Cup just around the corner, the striker knew he needed to find some form to stand any chance of earning a spot in Fernando Santos' Portugal squad.
