Walcott shaken up and on a stretcher after getting ball to the face
Theo Walcott lasted just one minute on the pitch at Goodison Park. The Everton player got a ball to the face and had to be stretchered off just seconds into the game.
In the very first play of the game, Mahrez had a shot from the edge of the box which Pickford knocked away to the side. The ball reached Sterling who looked to cross it in from the left.
The ball hit Walcott's head, who fell straight to the floor. The referee quickly called for the physio to come on to treat the Englishman who was shaken up on the ground.
Walcott was being treated by the medics at Goodison Park. The blow was so hard that he had to be substituted by Iwobi straight afterwards.
