Ahead of a £20million move to Everton, Arsenal forward Theo Walcott is set to undergo a medical examination with the Toffees.

After 12 years at Arsenal, Theo Walcott appears to have played his last game for the Gunners with Everton's £20million offer fending off rivals, including former club Southampton.

Walcott was seen entering Everton's training ground, Finch Farm, on Tuesday morning as a move to Goodison Park edges closer. According to 'Sky Sports', if negotiations continue to make progress, the 28-year old winger could begin his medical later this evening.

Walcott is also enticed by the prospect of Sam Allardyce helping to reignite his career, after the Toffees boss confirmed negotiations were underway to sign the winger, who has struggled to break into the first team at Arsenal this season.

Arsene Wenger said he has told Walcott he wants him to stay but added on Friday the player is not guaranteed game time, with 18 months left on his contract.

If a deal goes through, Arsenal plan to use the funds to reinvest in Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, while they are hoping to sign Manchester United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan in a deal which would involve Alexis Sanchez going the other way.
