Reports in the English press claim that Jose Mourinho could raid one of Manchester United's rivals for a replacement, should David De Gea leave the club this summer.

The player in question is Manchester City's Joe Hart. The England international is surplus to requirements at the Etihad following the arrival of Ederson and is carefully considering his next move.

Were United to bid for the player, who spent last season on loan with Torino in Serie A, Hart would certainly be interested in the move.

Real Madrid have been chasing De Gea for some time now and it is understood that the player is keen on returning to La Liga at some point in the future.

'The Sun' reports that there are rumours that the Spaniard has moved out of his luxury Cheshire mansion, meaning that a move could be on the cards. Should that come to pass, the same source claims that United would turn to Hart to fill the void.

Hart is under pressure to find himself a new club this summer, with Jack Butland breathing down his neck for the position as England's number one goalkeeper.

There is no shortage of interest in the strapping stopper with West Ham thought to be amongst the interested parties.
