Ecuador managed to draw against the Netherlands thanks to another goal scored by Enner Valencia. The striker has become the top goalscorer of the World Cup.

Cody Gakpo netted the first goal of the World Cup group stage match between the Netherlands and Ecuador six minutes into the match but Enner Valencia scored the second and equalised 43 minutes later.

The Ecuadorian striker is determined to make history and he has scored three goals in this year's World Cup after a brace against Qatar in the opening match.

The winger shot across the face of goal but Noppert saved it. However, Valencia made the most of the rebound and pushed the ball into the net.

Moreover, the footballer has scored Ecuador's last six goals at World Cups.
