Cristiano Ronaldo, Juventus player and POrtugal's captain, spoke about his current fitness ahead of Portugal's match against Lithuania and assured he is feeling "very well".

The Portuguese spoke to the media before facing Lithuania in the Euro 2020 qualifiers. Above all, Cristiano took the opportunity to make it clear that he is physically well ... and did so in the purest CR7 style.

"To open the news, you have to say: 'The captain is fine'. Well, the captain isn't doing well, he is doing very well," he explained in statements echoed by the Italian newspaper 'TuttoSport'.

Cristiano did not avoid any comments surrounding his supposed injury after the Juventus - Milan match, when he left the stadium before the end of the game after being replaced by Sarri, who said he "played despite having physical problems ... and also specified that "he did not seem well."

In this way, Cristiano denied the doubts there may be about his current form, and directly contradicted his manager. Hours earlier,  his coach Fernando Santos had done the same. In addition, in the statements was quite happy to return and said that the balance is "positive" with the Portuguese National Team.

Portugal's aim is to continue to secure second place in Group 2 of the EURO qualifiers. In order to do so, this Thursday they host Lithuania, who have only scored one point in seven matches.

If they win, the Portuguese will depend on themselves for the final matchday. If they get all three points on Thursday and Serbia do not win, they will qualify. If Serbia also gets the victory, Cristiano's Portugal will have all their work in the last day and will qualify if they beat Luxembourg.
