Sunderland are the latest club to show an interest in Joe Hart, and are looking to sign the England 'keeper on a season-long loan.

The Black Cats are looking for a new goalkeeper as current first-choice 'keeper Vito Mannone is injured. However, Manchester City would have to subsidise a fair chunk of Hart's wages if he were to leave the club on loan as Sunderland would not be able to afford the 'keeper's salary.

Hart was on the bench once again yesterday as Guardiola opted for Willy Caballero over the 29-year-old. The Citizens have also recently bought Claudio Bravo from Barcelona and Hart is expected to be the club's third-choice goalkeeper after the international break.

When the news broke on Hart's situation at Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla and Everton allegedly became interested but interest seems to have cooled from these clubs.

It was then rumoured yesterday that Hart could move to AC Milan or Torino and now it seems that Sunderland have thrown their name into the hat to sign Joe Hart.
