RUMOURS: Man City end Kroos talks
Toni Kroos was about to replace Yaya Tource at the Etihad, but the negotiations are over.
According to rumours Manchester City's new coach Pep Guardiola wants to sign Kroos.
The German worked already with Guardiola during his time at Bayern Munich.
He has stil four years remaining on his contract in the Spanish capital, meaning that City would have to activate his £63 million release clause.
A sum that is too high for the Premier League club. Guardiola admitted that the 26-year-old's wages were higher than they imagined and due to this, they have ended the negotiations.
