Ronaldo: No easy rival in semis
Cristiano Ronaldo, man of the match against New Zealand, spoke to the press after the match that saw them qualify for the semi-finals of the Confederations Cup.
'It was a good match from the team and I was able to score the first goal. We are happy to progress to the semi-finals, which was the objective', the Portuguese star said.
He insisted that the win was hard-fought and deserved: 'We won at a difficult ground, the pitch was in a bad state'.
'Whichever team we meet in the semi-finals will be difficult. Chile and Germany are excellent teams, but we have to concentrate on us', he assured, when talking about their possible opponent in the semi-finals.
Ronaldo, once again, spoke only about the Confederations Cup, and he did not accept any questions other than those programmed by FIFA.
