Ronaldo fails to bring title to Al Nassr
Al Nassr's draw with Al Ettifaq left Cristiano Ronaldo without the season's main aim. The Portuguese forward didn't manage to win the Saudi League and his side can no longer win any other trophy.
It's now impossible for Al Nassr to win the Saudi League. The side's early slips have made winning the top flight harder and harder until it was all confirmed on Saturday.
Al Ettifaq drew against Ronaldo's side and left the Portuguese man unable to claim the season's main objective. The forward went there with the aim of lifting the trophy, but has drawn short.
As for Al Ittihad, they've got their dream. A convincing win over Al Feiha was enough to be crowned champions for Nuno Espirito Santo's men.
Luiz Gustavo's goal wasn't enough. The Brazilian also had another ruled out. Ronaldo was forced off due to injury, with his tally of 14 goals remaining.
