Changes are on the horizon (and many) at Roma ahead of next season. Various players could leave... and others are expected to arrive.
According to 'Il Corriere dello Sport', Roma want one more CB. They are satisfied with Chris Smalling's performance, but his loan ends this summer, and United, the side that owns him, don't seem very willing to loan out the defender again.
Thus, according to the aforementioned media, Roma have set their eye on another 2 targets in England: Tottenham's Jan Vertonghen and Liverpool's Dejan Lovren.
Vertonghen would arrive for free, as his Spurs contract ends this very summer. Lovren still has one year left on his Liverpool contract, but Roma could try to force it: if Liverpool don't let him leave in the summer, they risk him leaving for free in 2021.
But not everything will be a matter of signings, they could also have an exit. According to 'CalcioMercato', Lorenzo Pellegrini has found a spot on PSG's agenda. His price is around 15 million euros, a sum that the French side could afford.
Pellegrini is under contract at Roma until 2022. For now, he hasn't renewed and the big teams are already following his tracks.
