Joe Hart is prepared to continue his career in Europe this summer, with Manchester City ready to accommodate a cut-price transfer for the 31-year-old goalkeeper.

Hart spent two seasons away from the Premier League champions, first at Torino followed by West Ham. However, his luck may be set to change after Ligue 1 outfit Nice expressed an tentative interest in him.

Patrick Vieira recently took the helm at Nice and is reportedly keen on the 31-year-old, especially given that he is likely to lose the services of current shotstopper Simon Pouplin and there is uncertainty over Yoan Cardinale.

Hart was a surprise omission from Gareth Southgate's England World Cup squad, and is seeking out more game time in the number one shirt.

If he were to sign with the Ligue 1 eight-spot finishers, he would face competition from uncapped Argentine Walter Benitez for the gloves.
