According to transfer specialist, Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City are preparing to make an offer for Brighton player, Marc Cucurella. The bid is said to be worth around 35 million pounds.

Manchester City could be losing Oleksandr Zinchenko during the current transfer window. The Ukranian was not given many minutes last season and therefore, he may be looking for the exit in search of more game time elsewhere.

Because of this, the Sky Blues have started their search for his replacement. In the last few hours, a Spaniard's name has appeared on City's wanted list. This being, Marc Cucurella.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Pep Guardiola's side will soon be submitting their first bid for the current Brighton left-back. Cucurella had a fantastic season last campaign, and so, he has caught the attention of various clubs.

Cucurella was named Player of the Season by the Brighton board for his performances during the 2021/22 campaign. It is reported that City will be making an offer worth 35 million pounds for the Spaniard.

Should the deal go through, the ex Barcelona footballer will become City's third signing of the current window, after the arrivals of Erling Haaland (Borussia Dortmund) and Julian Alvarez (River).
