Grzegorz Krychowiak pulled one back for Poland in their Group H clash with Senegal, scoring late on to make it 1-2.

The game hadn't gone to plan for Poland, who were looking for a win to keep pace with Japan in the group, after the 'Blue Samurai' beat Colombia 1-2.

After a first-half own-goal from Cionek, there was more calamity after the break when Krychowiak was involved in a calamitous bit of defending for Senegal's second, which was finished off by Niang.

The Pole redeemed himself in the final stages, though, scoring in the 86th minute to make it 1-2.

The goal came from a free-kick, which was delivered by Grosicki from just past the halfway line. The ball was lumped into the box, and Krychowiak headed home, sparking hopes of a late comeback.
