Roma have made the departure of Justin Kluivert official. The Dutch striker is leaving for Andoni Iraola's Bournemouth on a free transfer after spending last season on loan at Valencia.

Dutch striker Justin Kluivert became a new Bournemouth player on Friday after the English club and Roma, the young striker's previous owners, agreed a transfer deal.

"Roma announce that they have reached an agreement with Bournemouth for the definitive transfer of Justin Kluivert," the Roman club said.

Kluivert spent the 2022/23 season on loan at Valencia, scoring 8 goals in 27 appearances in all competitions. He made 68 appearances and scored 9 goals between 2018 and 2020 at the 'Giallorossi'.

The definitive sale of the Dutchman is part of Roma's summer transfer window plan to free up space. Roma are now working on a move for Spaniard Carles Perez, who has played for Celta Vigo this season.
