The Inter Milan board wants to make sure that PSG do not sign one of their most important players, such as Skriniar, who is a key member of the Italian defence. The 'Nerazzurri' club is already working on his renewal.

Inter Milan want to keep the team they have built, as they believe they have the best squad in Serie A, despite not having achieved the results they had hoped for. Therefore, they do not want the players they consider to be of great importance to leave the team.

The Italians are trying to keep Milan Skriniar, who finishes his contract with the club at the end of the current season and could negotiate with any other club in January. The Slovakian has attracted interest from several of Europe's top clubs, including Real Madrid, PSG, Chelsea and Tottenham.

Giuseppe Marotta, the club's CEO, according to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', wants to meet with the centre-back after the first leg of the UEFA Champions League tie against FC Barcelona. A large part of their chances of qualifying for the last 16 are at stake.

Inter Milan are set to offer him a renewal with a salary of six million euros a year, despite PSG offering him nine million during the last transfer window. If they do not get a contract renewal before January, they would consider offers before seeing him leave for free in the summer.
