The future of Nicolas Pépé appears a bit clearer as he seems set to join German Champions Bayern Munich. Bayern are looking for replacements for their long standing duo of Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben.

Nicolas Pépé seems set to join German giants, Bayern Munich, as the two giants have emerged as the favourites to sign the highly rated Ivorian.

Liverpool and Manchester United were both keen on signing Pépé but it seems that they will both miss out as Pépé seems set to make a move from Ligue 1 to the Bundesliga.

Pépé had a phenomenal season for Lille this year, scoring 22 goals and assisting 11 times as Lille finished a stunning season in the Champions League places for next season.

He is now a major target for several of Europe's top clubs, with Bayern set to continue their recent spending spree after signing Benjamin Pavard and Lucas Hernandez for a combined total of 100 million euros.

Pépé will be one of the replacements for the iconic Bayern duo of Arjen Robben and Franck RIbery, with Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman already at Bayern and looking to continue to push for first team places next season.

It is reported that Bayern are looking to sign Pépé for 70 million euros, according to the Sun, whilst they are also looking to bring in a replacement on the left hand side with Leroy Sané the favourite to join the German giants.
