Is the Paul Pogba transfer tussle finally ending?
We've been waiting for weeks for the big news, but until now Manchester United and Juventus haven't agreed yet.
The negotiations have stopped because of Pogba's agent Mino Raiola. He is supposed to earn a 20% of the fee (which means €25 million), but both of the clubs have refused to pay this huge amount. But Mourinho changed his mind.
Accordig to 'The Sun', the United coach is about to complete the deal. The Premier League club has agreed to pay the agent's fee for realizing Pogba's move.
This means that the 23-year-old would cost the club €130 million in total-a world record fee for the Italian club. The Frenchman is supposed to undergo a medial and join the club he left four years ago.
Sir Alex Ferguson blames Raiola for Pogba's exit:
"There are one or two football agents I simply do not like, and Mino Raiola, Paul Pogba’s agent is one of them.
"We had Paul under a three-year contract, and it had a one-year renewal option which we were eager to sign. But Raiola suddenly appeared on the scene and our first meeting was a fiasco.
"He and I were like oil and water. From then on, our goose was cooked because Raiola had been able to ingratiate himself with Paul and his family and the player signed with Juventus".
