Ajax announced that they will travel to their game with Midtjylland with just 17 players. A COVID-19 outbreak, with 11 positive tests, is to blame.

COVID-19 has spread through the Ajax squad. The Dutch team announced that 11 players have tested positive and will not travel to face Midtjylland.

The problem means that they will make the journey to Denmark with just 17 players in the squad.

The full squad in as follows: Scherpen, Schuurs, Mazraoui, Blind, Martinez, Tagliafico, Klaiber, Timber, Alvarez, Ekkelenkamp, Neres, Antony, Promes, Traore, Huntelaar, Brobbey, Jensen.

Among those unavailable are key players Dusan Tadic, Davy Klaasen, and André Onana.
