Despite still having one more year left on his contract with Napoli, Fabian Ruiz could end up leaving the Italian club early, this summer to be precise. This is according to transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano, who spoke about the player's future on his official Twitter account.
And although he has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, the club that has been on his trail for years, it seems that, in the end, the 26-year-old midfielder's destiny will be quite different.
Because the former Betis player could have already made a deal to move to French football with Paris Saint-Germain. This is according to the aforementioned source, who reports that an agreement has supposedly been reached between the Parisian and Neapolitan sides for the transfer of the Spanish international.
PSG are reportedly ahead of Madrid and it is only a matter of days before his arrival at the Parc des Princes becomes official. Apparently, the French side only have a few final details to finalise with Napoli to complete the deal.
While Real Madrid are considering the possibility of getting Fabian Ruiz for free in 2023, the Parisians could leave a good amount of money in the Neapolitan coffers. In addition, Fabrizio claims that both clubs are also negotiating the possibility of a transfer for Keylor Navas.
