Paul Pogba continues to be in the centre of attention for Real Madrid fans. Zidane wants the 'red devil' to join his team at all costs and, when you look at his numbers, you can understand why.

The preseason usually serves to adjust tactical concepts and discover any ongoing mistakes within teams. Unfortunately for Zidane, it seems Real Madrid has a handfull of mistakes and corrections to make if he wants his team to succeed this season.

Meanwhile, many seem to think that the bad results, the poor image and the doubts surrounding the squad would be lessened if the Frenchman arrived. That's what Real Madrid followers are currently focused on, and the stats and data endorse these opinions.

In terms of attacking play, the French midfielder has scored 16 goals and has distributed eleven assists in the 47 official games he has played (45 as a starter).

Meanwhile, Real Madrid midfielders - the same position as Paul Pobga - do not reach the same numbers. Modric finished the course with four goals and eight assists in 46 games, Kroos reached one goal and five passes in 43 games, and Casemiro scored four goals in 43 games.

Between the three of them there are nine goals and 13 assists. Offensively, the comparison benefits a Pogba who has enjoyed penalties and free-kicks throughout the year.

On the sidelines, the newspaper 'AS' provides a defensive figure, in order to compare the players fairly on all aspects. The United player recovered a total of 287 balls, Casemiro's 278, Kroos' 268 and Modric's 222.
