6 Red Star Belgrade players tested positive in the coronavirus tests and will have to miss the first phase of summer preparation, the Serbian champions informed on their website.
Those infected are Srdjan Spiridonovic, Veljko Nikolic, Strahinja Erakovic, Marko Gobeljic, Branko Jovicic, and Dusan Jovanovic, and they will be quarantined for two weeks, the club indicated in the statement.
Red Star recently informed that their general secretary, Zvezdan Terzic, who had also been infected, has tested negative in a new test.
Terzic declared this Saturday, as preparations begin, that the club's target is their fourth league title in a row, and assured that strict behaviour rules will be introduced to avoid more infections.
