3 favorites to win Euro 2024

Some fans are eager to watch their country perform on the continental stage, some neutrals just want to watch great players play good football, while the sports-betting aficionados are focused on analyzing the biggest EM 2024 odds out there.
Well, it doesn’t matter why you’ll be watching, you surely want to know who the favorites to win the competition are, so let’s have a look.
Number one will always be France. They’ve been arguably the best national team in the world over the last decade, having reached the final of the last two World Cup editions. Their squad is stacked with world class players everywhere and it’s hard to see anybody beating them over 90 minutes.
Also, the Euros is one trophy they really want. They haven’t conquered Europe in 24 years and they’ll be hoping to end that drought in Germany. They got to the final on home soil in 2016 but lost to Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal, surely they’ll be hoping to do one better by winning it all this time around.
Yes they haven’t won a major trophy in almost 6 decades, but with the caliber of players England have, they’ll always be one of the favorites going into any tournament.
Just like France, England are stacked in every position on the pitch, even down to the bench. They got to the final on home soil last time around, only losing to Italy on penalties, so they’ll be going to Germany with the sole aim of trying to go a step further than the last time.
In fact, many are making very early predictions of a France v England final. If that happens, it would probably be one of the greatest Euro finals ever.
Euro 2024 is going down in Germany, and that alone automatically makes them one of the favorites to win the competition. The Germany national team has actually been underwhelming in recent tournaments. They got knocked out in the round of 16 at the last Euros and in the group stage of the last two World Cup editions, so on paper, many might not fancy them. But they recently underwent something of a revival after they sacked Hansi Flick and hired Julian Nagelsmann, so expect a major bounce back.
Also, never underrate the effect of having home fans behind you in a major tournament. After all, Côte d’Ivoire and Qatar won the AFCON and AFC Asian Cup, respectively, as hosts this year, so who says Germany cannot go on to complete the trifecta?
The guys will also be eager to give a grand farewell to Toni Kroos who will be retiring after the Euros, so expect them to put up a good show.
BONUS: Portugal. They could also pose a threat. They have experience, youth, skill, goal-threat, defensive solidity, and most importantly, they have Cristiano Ronaldo. So, you just can never count them out.
But who will you be betting on to win Euro 2024?
